CINEMA GRADE CAMERAS
All kinds of cinema grade cameras are available at FILMBASE.
ARRI Alexa Mini LF, RED V-Raptor 8K, Vision Research Phantom VEO4K, DJI Zenmuse X9/X7 and also smaller options such as Sony FX3 or RED Komodo(-X) to start with.
DREAM LENSES
We are Salzburg’s number one location for unicorn lenses. Both spherical and anamorphic lenses for all sensor formats are available. Angenieux EZ-Series, Atlas Orion and WPO rehoused Canon FDs (including the original K35 source lenses) are available for rent, to name a few.
SKY IS THE LIMIT
Drones - or aerial platforms as we call them - in all shapes and sizes are available at FILMBASE*. Ranging from all kinds of FPV racing drones (2,5”, 5”, 7”, 10”) for GoPro, FX3 or Komodo, through DJI all-in-one systems such as Mavic 3 Pro Cine and Inspire 3 to the big players - Freefly Alta 6 and Alta 8.
We can even fly cinema cameras such as Alexa Mini, RED V-Raptor or Phantom VEO 4K together with heavy (anamorphic) lenses up to 3kgs.
Car-to-car tracking
A pool of high performance cars with tracking rigs are available for your production. We work with race track approved BMW M Performance Cars and have also options for 4x4 offroad tracking or motorbike rigs. You wanna go tracking? Lets go!
Events & eDUCATION
FILMBASE offers regular crew events to get together and spark both new ideas and connections. We do also have an education repertoire for cinematographers, camera assistants, gaffers and many more. Some of our specialist gear requires specialist crew - for the ambitious filmmakers who wanna do it themselves we offer certification courses.
